1. Rinse tank and gravel with water ONLY.
2. Place tank on strong base away from direct sunlight and any heating/air vents.
3. Add clean gravel to tank.
4. Set up air pump and filter according to manufacturers instructions.
5. Add any oranaments you have purchased.
6. Fill tank half full with water be careful not to mess up your decorations.
7. Add plants. Taller plants should be placed in the back for best viewing of fish.
8. Fill rest of tank with water.
9. Add water conditioner according to directions on bottle.
10. Place cover and light on tank. Turn on all filters, pumps, and lights and allow tank to cycle for at least 36-48 hours before adding fish.
